Action Bronson: NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Listen, Bronson is not for everyone but over the years I have become fans of artists by seeing them perform on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert because it offers a deeper look at the emotion and love they have for their craft. I rediscovered my love for Tyler, The Creator through his performance and to this day I am moved by Mac Miller’s Tiny Desk performance. With that said, I have always appreciated Bam Bam Baklava and his unique style.

On a side note I just received Mac Miller’s Tiny Desk Concert on vinyl minutes before posting this and I couldn’t be more excited to play it after I finish writing this.

This performance only further demonstrates how he will, or should, go down as a great in the industry simply for the way he still story-tells in his raps like its 1994 again. He’s a perfectionist in spirit, note when he stops the band and restarts the song because he stumbled over his words. Even as a perfectionist his music gives this carefree feeling as though he wrote nothing and stepped up to freestyle song after song.

I just wanted to share this video as I watched it minutes after it came out the other night and I think I have watched it everyday since. It will definitely live in my Top 5 NPR Tiny Desk Concerts. Hope you enjoy.
